By accessing this website (hampshirewebpro.co.uk), submitting an enquiry form, requesting a demo, or engaging HampshireWeb for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all clients, visitors, and users of HampshireWeb services, whether accessed online or agreed verbally or in writing.
HampshireWeb provides professional web design, development, and related digital services to businesses primarily based in Hampshire and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to:
The exact scope of work for any project will be agreed in writing (email is acceptable) prior to commencement.
The free demo is a working website preview hosted on a temporary subdomain (e.g. preview.hampshirewebpro.co.uk). It is built using publicly available information such as your business name, address, phone number, and any publicly visible images or descriptions.
Viewing or receiving a demo creates no financial or contractual obligation whatsoever. You are under no pressure to proceed.
If you choose not to proceed, the demo will be deleted promptly upon your request — typically within 24 hours. Simply reply to our email or contact us at support@hampshirewebpro.co.uk to request deletion.
If the demo inadvertently includes content you consider confidential or wish to have removed, please notify us immediately and we will address it without delay.
Our current packages are as follows:
All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. HampshireWeb reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time; however, agreed prices will be honoured for the duration of any active agreement.
A 50% deposit is required before work commences, with the remaining balance due upon completion and before the website goes live. Monthly maintenance and hosting fees are billed in advance on the same date each month.
If monthly fees remain unpaid for more than 14 days after the due date, HampshireWeb reserves the right to suspend hosting of the website until payment is received. We will always contact you before taking this step.
The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it covers time and resources already invested. If you cancel before any work has begun, a full refund will be issued.
The remaining 50% balance is due upon project completion. If you are not satisfied with the final deliverable, we will work with you to make reasonable revisions before requesting final payment.
You may cancel your monthly hosting and maintenance plan at any time by giving 30 days' written notice (email is acceptable). No refund will be issued for the current billing period, but you will not be charged beyond the cancellation date.
Upon cancellation of your monthly plan, your website will remain live for the remainder of the paid period. After this, it will be taken offline. You will retain ownership of all content and may request a full export of your website files and database at no charge.
To allow us to deliver your project efficiently, you agree to:
Delays caused by the client (e.g. failure to provide content or feedback) may affect agreed delivery timelines. HampshireWeb accepts no responsibility for delays resulting from client inaction.
All content you provide (text, images, logos, branding) remains your property at all times. By providing it to us, you grant HampshireWeb a licence to use it solely for the purpose of building and maintaining your website.
Upon receipt of full and final payment for the setup fee, ownership of the website design and its custom code transfers to you, the client. You are free to take your website to another developer or host at any time.
Websites may include third-party themes, plugins, or libraries (e.g. WordPress, Elementor). These are subject to their own licences and remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. HampshireWeb does not claim ownership over third-party components.
HampshireWeb reserves the right to feature your completed website in our portfolio, case studies, or social media as an example of our work, unless you request otherwise in writing.
Monthly fees cover website hosting on our servers, security monitoring, software updates, and a set number of hours for minor content updates as specified in your package. We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to factors outside our control (e.g. server maintenance, third-party outages).
We are not liable for data loss resulting from server failure. We recommend maintaining your own backups of important business data.
HampshireWeb's total liability to you in connection with any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of revenue, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunity arising from the use or inability to use your website.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this URL. If changes are material, we will notify active clients by email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
